Wednesday, September 23rd, 6:30 p.m.:  Our devotion this week will examine briefly sin from our studies from A Puritan Catechism.

Saturday, September 26th, 1:00 p.m.: “The Sounds of Sovereign Grace” radio broadcast can be heard every Saturday afternoon on Grace Radio WGRW, 90.7 FM.  This is a ministry outreach of Sovereign Grace Baptist Church, taught by Brother John Hunter, and now, with occasional teaching from Brother Jon Cardwell.

Sunday morning, September 27th, 11:00 a.m.:  We will continue in our study of Paul’s Epistle to the Romans as we have begun walking verse-by-verse through that book of the Bible.  The morning message is entitled, Justification by Grace through Faith.”  The Scripture text is taken from Romans 4:1-8.

Sunday evening, September 27th, 6:00 p.m.:  The evening Bible study continues in the Gospel of John.  The message is entitled, My Time is Not Yet Come.”  The Scripture text is taken from John 7:1-9.

Sunday school classes for children, youth, and adults will begin at 9:45 a.m.

The Children’s Sunday school are for those under 12 years of age.  Kathy Hunter, wife of our elder and missionary John Hunter, teaches the children Bible truth using flanel graphic presentation, Scripture memorization, followed by a craft that reinforces the lessons learned.  Following singing of praises and choruses in the sanctuary, classes are held in the educational room of our building.  This week, Heidi Hicks will be teaching the children’s Sunday school.

Youth Sunday school classes are for those young people attending grades 7-12 or are ages 12-17.  The youth class includes prayer, catechism recitation and memorization, and the verse-by-verse reading and study of Scripture.  Brother Jon Cardwell teaches this class, and currently, we are studying the Gospel According to Luke.  Following singing of praises and choruses in the sanctuary, classes are held in the pastor’s office behind the church building.

Adult Sunday school classes are held in the sanctuary.

Sunday prayer meeting is held in the nursery prior to the evening service on 5:30 p.m.

This Week, June 29th – July 5th

Wednesday, July 1st, 6:30 p.m.:  Our devotion will take a slight sidetrack this week through an understanding of the proper use and perspective of creeds and catechisms.”  The Scripture texts are taken from Deuteronomy 6:4-9 and Ephesians 6:4.

Sunday morning, July 5th, 11:00 a.m.:  We will continue in our study of Paul’s Epistle to the Romans as we have begun walking verse-by-verse through that book of the Bible.  The morning message is entitled, “God’s Sovereignty Revealed.”  The Scripture texts are taken from Romans 1:17 and Romans 9:18-25.

Sunday evening, July 5th, 6:00 p.m.:  The evening Bible study continues in the Gospel of John, chapter 5.  The message is entitled, “Vindication of Christ.”  The Scripture text is taken from John 5:17-31.

Sunday school classes for children, youth, and adults will begin at 9:45 a.m.
